Woven Roving is made from continuous glass fiber roving which are interlaced into heavy weight fabrics. Compatible with most resin systems. Used in most cases to increase the flexural and impact strength of laminates.  Ideal for multi-layer hand lay-up applications where great material strength is required.  Good drapeability, wet out and cost effective.  With Woven Roving as a general rule estimate the resin/reinforcement ratio at 1:1 by weight.  Woven Roving is available in a variety of weaves, weights, widths and finishes to suit a wide range of applications.

Similar to, but much heavier than fiberglass cloth. 24 and 18 ounce woven roving handles and wets out easily. Provides high tensile and flexural strength in laminates. Usually is sandwiched between layers of mat.

SURFACE MAT 

Our Surface mat is mainly used in the surface layers of FRP products. It is characterized by uniform fiber dispersion, smooth surface, soft hand-feeling, low binder content, fast resin impregnation and good mould obedience.

A thin layer of fine fibers used primarily to produce a smooth surface on a reinforced plastic.

Types of Woven Roving:

• 200 g/m2 1000mm
• 400 g/m2 1000mm
• 600 g/m2 1000mm

Types Of Surface Mat:

• 30g/m2 1040mm
• 50g/m2 1040mm
